CHICAGO SHOW 2004

My pc crashed
and with thousands of other photos I lost the photos from this page.
I was too stupid to save my pictures and my files.
So: Save and store your files and data now !

The photo was shot in Irland - the Land of the Peterson Pipes.
 


I started in Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony, Germany
an Aid Program for elderly people.


It all it started with my father
since he could not walk anymore
I bought a power wheel chair for him
and when I saw how happy he was with the power chair
I bought 20 more used power chairs on Ebay
and made about 10000 miles through Germany
to get all the power chairs I bought to Cuxhaven.



It was only a few years ago that the Water Tower in Chicago was
the tallest building in town.
 



Today you do hardly find it among all the other skyscrapers.

I am the youngster in the middle
We are all getting older and somewhen we may be in need of help.
 

May it be "Alzheimer" , may it be any desease,
or just that or old bones are tired to carry the rest of the body.


I do not want to end in a poor house
and I do not want it for anybody
(at least not for people who I know or how know me) !
 

He suffers from diabetes and cancer
and his right leg is totally amputated now
He has a power wheel chair from me
is in public , and enjoys life as good as he can.

This old lady lives in the country
and could not get to her super market
could not leave the house, was in her house like in prison
She got a fast scooter from me and enjoys life again

ATTENTION
I bring a new Brand to Chicago


Rudolf Apelt is the "Baiano"-Designer.
For many years he was the master pipe maker in the
Design Berlin Workshop.

For health reasons he had to quit the job
in the workshop.

Now he started a carier on his own as a designer and artisan.
"Baiano" is the maiden name of his mother
who comes from Italy.

......and in Chicago of course.

This world pipe is "Baiano"-design for example,
as well as the tulip pipe and countless others.

2002 I brought "Karlo" Joura to Chicago
shared the table on the pre-show with him
and in the exhibition hall he had his table right behind me
so that I could translate for him because he does not speak English.




"Karlo" wanted an importer for USA
and thanks Frank Burla and me
R.D. Field is his importer in USA since 2002.
